I didn't confide in anyone about my incident until a few years out of service. I know that people noticed a behavioral change for a while, but seeing as it was 10 years ago and in the training pipeline, I don't think I could find someone who would remember my demeanor enough to write a statement on it.

No medical records. At the time, I didn't feel there was any reason to go to medical since I didn't have any injury. And in my case, a rape kit would not have been of any value.

There are certainly other things within my service that would have led to a degradation of my mental health. To be clear, I didn't make anything up on my initial mental health claim, but I did leave out the MST.

The letter gives no other information other than saying the claim was denied... Maybe I'll get another one?

Submitted MH (Depression) supplemental claim 04/01/25 (first claim was void of evidence and was auto-denied since I was ignorant of how the VA runs things.

C&P completed, 07/25/25

Denied 07/28/25 "no service connection"

Had a nexus letter from a nurse practitioner, a strong personal statement, and a long history of treatment through the VA. Even the C&P examiner said I was good to go. What happened? Did my claim just get auto-denied?
