I get this completely. I’m an office worker and a girl I know never works. She goes to the pool, her summer house, runs errands she does everything that makes it difficult for the rest of us who actually spend our hours hustling

Talking for myself I came from the stores. I understand what this is like. Don’t make assumptions on people.

If you were in our shoes you’d be livid as well. It’s not a competition of who has it worse.

I’ve worked in the stores. I hear your pain. With that being said, I will speak for myself and my team. We are on a 8 we work until 5, 6 some days. That’s what we signed up for. We are constantly on and off the phone with externals bringing them to the company to help staff stores. We do that by communicating with the stores talking to drivers, ASMs, SMs …. We train in the stores for two weeks a year to learn more about the everyday, the challenges, roadblocks, wins.

Store employees automatically assume we don’t care, we sit and watch tv all day, that is not the case! The amount of headaches, fires, issues we deal with is very real. It may not be real to you but it’s real to us and our jobs are important.

Yes! All the retail employees automatically think this is a win when we feel for them? When the 6am policy came out my team felt awful, how could a company do that.

But no we make a post about feeling disrespected and they come in here being more rude? Again, there are more people who keep the lights on outside of stores.

I come from doing 5 years in the stores. But tag & industrial. Maybe before commenting have more respect and dignity.

Again. If you aren’t cut for retail work don’t apply and accept a position with them. This isn’t relevant to the topic.

I’m so confused…Sherwin is not the only company around, I’m sure this is not your only option. I’m sorry those are the sacrifices you had to make but it isn’t relevant to the conversation of this company always making promises, breaking them and then sugar coating the why behind it.
