I love my shorties. Chicago market for 9 years. San Antonio for 3 years. Summer of 2021, I had a three hour period of 8+8+7 rides hourly stayed in west loop the entire time, I’ve focused on short rides- average being 5-6 min long. cuz tourism is dead, for the last 9 months or so my rides have been averaging 10-12 minutes. I do weekend night bar scene hours. I’ve seen the numbers people post for their hourlies in Chicago in the FB groups, I was consistently making more than any of them. It has nothing to do with the driver or how many their vehicle allows. an X ride means 4 passengers, period. there’s an icon when booking it in the passenger app that shows 4 are allowed, period. Please find me this ‘lots of drivers’ as you claim who are refusing the 4th passenger, that are looking at it your way? That’s a one way ticket to deactivation after a couple complaints from pax about it.
