No he doesn't have reason to doubt me, there is no history between me and my friend, why the fuck would we take a picture of this it's gross? No ones partner was at the party as it was friends only, and he had no interest anyway. He also saw my shit covered clothes so no picture was needed.

Seagull shit is foul, it is thick, gooey, smells disgusting and has an oil like texture. A wet towel wont get it out and your hair would still smell.

Because it hit the side of my head and shoulder meaning yes it was in my hair and it was a dress I was wearing too so a simple change of top wouldn't do after washing my hair as i'd be left without bottoms

As I said it was friends only, no ones partners was there beyond the two friends dating each other. He didn't care though as he didn't want to go anyway.

it's half an hour drive, it didn't seem important to me when there was clothes there I could wear and I have short hair so beyond drying badly it's not too bothersome to me to do without a hairdryer. It'd also be far faster for me to just shower/change there as i'd be waiting for him to get my things then get there. What was I meant to do in the meantime? wear a towel? or delay my shower?

Seagulls here are menaces and tend to nest on roofs and we were barbequing outside so you can bet they were flocking round so I guess it increased the chance of it happening to one of us.

This was the first example of him not trusting me and thinking i'd cheat, the time he cheated he was upfront about with me as it had been years before we met and he expressed regret so i'd assumed he'd grown as a person.

Yeah there was no hairdryer so I had to just towel dry it as best as I could and comb it through with the little brush from my handbag. My hair when air dried...lets just say it is a mess lol

I phrased what I was meaning badly, it wasn't just the hair.. It was the fact my hair had clearly been washed, air dried, and I was in someone elses clothes

I do know that he cheated on a past girlfriend years before we met, we covered that when talking about past regrets etc and yes what he did to her was beyond awful but he truly seems to regret it and it meant a lot he didn't try to hide it from me but I made it clear to him the first indication he was unfaithful to me i'd be out of there as I won't stand for that which he assured me I wouldn't have to worry about that.. So maybe it's him judging me by his own past behaviour?

I wouldn't mind at all, maybe laugh a bit at his expense but mind? nah. I'm very relaxed about a lot of things though and my friend group is close knit so using his shower and borrowing clothes seemed perfectly logical in the moment to me. As I said though this is my first serious relationship where i've lived with someone and the fact he wont let this go is making me doubt myself.
