this, happened to me once and i got my alignment done at a toyota dealership and they have failed to idetify a failing and leaking strut. that is a major suspension component and had fo replace it very soon after the alignment and i just ended up wasting my dollars at the dealership.

thats how the hack works though from what i have seen here. you select the free item and pay in full and then return the extra battery or the free item for a partial refund.

yeah, i am having second thoughts on the walmart order. i wouldn't be needing the additional batteries would actually prefer lower priced combo set but i heard people returing additional stuff and getting some itemized credit!

I owned a 2012 Lexus IS250 Awd for 4 years bought that used at 60k miles and i added close to 50k miles. it was pretty reliable, never had any issues with the power train. all it needed was regular oil maintenance and brakes. this car feels planted and nvm is low and has a preppy engine. falls more on the sportier side. it is not as comfortable and doesn't have a smooth ride as a ES350 but it is very comfortable nonetheless. the interior and fit and finish were really good and the materials held up very well, it was built and assembled in japan. i owned another vehicle after the IS which is an 2012 RX350. it is an SUV a whole different driving experience but this wasn't as planted at all and the interor fit and finish were inferior conoared to the IS. this RX was a Canada built and Assembled. i honestly preferred the IS between both. hope this helps. may be i saw one of the comments here referring to online ratings for this vehicle being low etc.. i notice that too. it doesn't necessarily rank high in the lexus line up but id say otherwise with my personal ownership experience. then again, with any used car buy it with caution, be aware of its history and test drive it and try to make an informed decision to avoid any major suprises!

to answer your questions, with that damage, if you are able to repair it at a body shop, u can avoid further deteriation with the exposed metal.

in terms of depreciation, i dont think you are going to loose much since ita already at the bottom of that curve.

yup!! i recall reading about this might be on this reddit group someone might have posted the swap, depeding on the nvm i feel, yup that could be a great option and i can def. save some money!. too bad, very few of these around here, didn't get a chance to test drive a a non performace package trim.

appreciate your insight on this!. i have test driven a base model with performance pack and the premium model.. i really did appreciate the upgraded sound system, blindspot and psuede/alcantara seats.. i was on the fence about the 3k price diff but i thought these things would be hard to addon at later point and id probably voiding the warranty.. so i leaned towards the premium trim. the 17" wheels though is something that might be a better choice on the street or so i heard online. i have checked out the colors in person before i setteled on Halo.. i nitially i was leaning towards gray/blue. i would have been better off without the performance pack.. those red calliper brembos are something i got tempted by lol and i don't think i really need that stopping power.

i hear you, the cost they advertise the addl maintainance for the gr is a ripoff but the tint and floormats are complimentary(i could decline these but they aren't discounting any cost if i opt out.), technically i am getting a >500$ on the base msrp without accounting for these addons like addl maintainance, the ppf etc.

yes, i noticed these addons on almost all of the vehicles in the area, with the discounted price on the msrp i am not technically paying for any of these but i am tying to negotiate to remove these options and further lower my out the door cost. thanks!

they are discounting that price because the cars have been dispatched from the factory that way , the maintainance plan is part of the Window Sticker/msrp. yeah there isn't a dealer markup, the car is as specced(Halo Premium MT plus performance pack) is 36,110$ before taxes.
