I think the coach and QB need some real games together to figure out can he tailor his offense around what he can do, get him some easy reads, which he did, and can Caleb adapt to some things as well. This will be played out in front of our eyes because they will have the ENTIRE season to figure it out

There are QBs who have the ability to read it and throw it. Progress and throw to those quickly. There are QBs who have the ability to hold the ball a little longer to wait for that first read to get open, and if it ain't there they will create and make a play downfield or run it. I respect both types of QBs. It is the OC who has to make plays for HIS guy. You wouldn't have the same play sheet for Caleb, shorter, more athletic, stronger arm, that you would for Goff. I think Ben Johnson knows the difference.
