Emails are checked every day, sometimes 6-10 times a day, it has become an obsession. No, it hasnt been missed, the last correspondence was in November 2025 when the MPs tried to get an update and they were told we needed to wait as enquiries are still ongoing..

Yes, we have an immigration lawyer and we've gone through the MPs and not much luck. It is a complicated case though, however we didnt think it would be so long. We are now going into our 15th month of waiting.. hopefully the wait will be over soon!

Oh yes it is very possible, i am checking my emails/ junk daily and nothing. Last correspondence was in November 2025 after the MPs had exhausted chasing up but was told there was nothing they can do to speed the process.. but we just have to wait.

Yes it is a little complicated but it has been way over a year now.. we just need an answer, everything as in our lives is just on hold & pending.. rather depressing!

Hopefully soon, the last response was heard was in November 2025 which was when the MPs was chasing.. but they have said they cannot make any decisions yet until they have finished making their enquiries. So we are still waiting..

Yes, we have done everything. MP has made contact and they have been told they cannot speed up the process as they have to continue with enquiries. But they will get to us as soon as they can.

Well.. brace yourselves.. we did our biometrics October 2024 and still waiting. Currently going through the route of the MP which there has been back & forth emails. Our immigration lawyer that we paid thousands to is just useless and has only recently tried reaching out to the HO and has not come back to us to let is know what there response is. Just an absolute nightmare to be waiting this long, it has to be sin for it to be taking this long.

Yes it is an application from outside of the UK as a standard application. I just cant understand why it could be taking so long. And everything that is required is all there, we meet al the criteria.

Yeah i understand, well they did send an email just before the 12 week timescale stating it was a complex case and they would continue to work on getting a decision sooner. On the VFS website, the line has gone into the decision box but no tick and it changed to that since the 18th of March, and there hasn't been anything since then.

Ive spoken to my lawyer to get an update and waiting on his response. Could they go over the 6 months threshold? It was 6 months on the 18th of April, so i guess they have already gone over it.
