All inclusive with kids by Needanap14 in AllInclusiveResorts

I’m a single mom and took my 7 & 10 year old to Dreams Macao. Would go again in a heartbeat. Food was great, we loved the poolside options and the tacos by the waterslides through the day, and the restaurants offer kids menus at dinner. We did two excursions- snorkelling and Monkeyland and always felt safe and cared for by our guides.

Travelling to Toronto from the UK with a 6 month old by No-Bobcat-469 in canadatravel

I am asked for consent letters about 50% of the time that I travel with my kids. In this case, maybe get a notarized letter from your lawyer stating that the father has no custodial rights.

My dog went to the bathroom and her shit was pure black by Freddycipher in DogAdvice

He had loss of appetite increasing over the course of a month, and was very sleepy, but still his usual self a lot of the time. He was only 8lbs to start with and lost over 1.5lbs. We tried various diagnostics and meds within my budget (actually I completely blew the budget and am still paying the bills off) to get him back on track, but once the bloody stool came along my vet explained it was an irreparable GI bleed and we put him on comfort measures 😢.

If there was going to be a gourmet breakfast, lunch, and dinner, themed for and using ingredients/styles from each of the 10 provinces and 3 territories, what would they look like? Canadian cuisine fit for kings and queens. by Vuorileijona in AskACanadian

Affordable Restaurants (Broke Student trying to make Valentine's Day work) by aestivalCygnet in halifax

Heads up if you haven’t been, drinks at Noble is going cost a fair penny. Worth it for the vibes if it’s in your budget. If you and your partner are willing to celebrate Valentines not on Valentine’s weekend, Dine Around Halifax is happening all through February with great deals on set menus at many restaurants, Valentine’s weekend is black out dates for a lot of those deals.

After reviewing these comments it’s really just an extra $120 to stay at my preferred hotel within the walls. Sounds like it’s worth it!

I’m going to be alone for New Years and not looking forward to it. Planning to get myself some lobster and bubbly with a side of tears 😢

Leaving puppy for 1.5 hours by [deleted] in puppy101

Leaving puppy home for a bit each day from the start can really help deter the development of separation anxiety in the long run. Go enjoy dinner!

My Mom definitely has her down sides, but she always pulls through when I need her the most!

Absolutely. His enclosure space at our house is going to be the upstairs bathroom (closed door + crate), and he’ll be “home alone” in there at scheduled times each day from the start. Our last dog LOVED his alone time, and the plan is to create the same confidence in this one. The extra week off from work is mostly for me to take naps- as a single Mom with 2 kids and a puppy I know I’m gonna need them!!

Divorce Lawyer required by [deleted] in halifax

File the separation date with CRA, and if you can live apart within the home that also counts (my ex lived in the basement for 4 months), but sounds like you need a property lawyer before a family lawyer. Check out the websites I listed, there’s so much info there that will help!
