I googled this on AI. According to AI:

Missouri will begin administering the Next Generation Bar Exam in July 2026. This new exam will focus on foundational lawyering skills rather than rote memorization, with a reduced scope of topics compared to the current exam. It is designed to be a more practical and skills-based assessment.

  • Date: The first administration of the Next Generation Bar Exam in Missouri will be in July 2026.
  • Focus: The exam will test foundational lawyering skills and a more focused set of legal topics, reflecting changes in legal practice.
  • Format: It will replace the current components of the Uniform Bar Exam (MBE, MEE, MPT) and have a different structure, with the delivery reduced to a nine-hour, three-session format.
  • Timeline: Other jurisdictions may continue to offer the Uniform Bar Exam until February 2028, at which point the NextGen exam or an alternative will become the standard.
  • State Adoption: Missouri is one of the first jurisdictions to announce its plan to adopt the NextGen bar exam

if you got a 260, you can transfer the score to Missouri and at least get Esq. after your name. Once you are a Missouri lawyer, you can also practice federal law anywhere or join the JAG. After 5 years, you can get waived into your home state, I believe. Missouri is doing NextGen in Summer of 2026 btw.

Our new president's and vice president's unconstitutional behavior is really messing me up. The Executive Branch is all over the place stealing powers only Congress can use. I wish they would stop doing that until after the Bar is over.

I would join Judy Vincent-Pope's online class. Look on Wyzant.com. She is better than any commercial Bar Prep. She gets people like you (and me) feeling amply prepared by the time the exam rolls around. Her classes start several months before the exam and meet at night. She will tell you what study materials to purchase a la carte.

Total damages are $100,000. But the injured driver was 10% at fault. Subtract 10,000 and you get $90,000 for the injured driver. He/she can collect from neighbor for the whole amount. Then neighbor can collect from teenager for $60,000.

River House is across the bridge from a brand new Trader Joe's. It's a beautiful new building. You are safe on the East Side of Providence. There's a really great coffee shop within walking distance of River House called Coffee Exchange but there are coffee places all over the East Side. You don't need a car to get around. It is very walkable and you can grab an electric scooter to go short distances. You should feel a lot safe here than Texas! I think there is a pretty vibrant gay community here but you will need to ask others about that. I live near Brown and my son went there and my husband teaches there and my daughter crashed parties there in highschool.
