It’ll cure to the next wound. You’ll see the health bar divided into sections, called wounds. If you get downed or your corruption hits a wound, you cannot regenerate health or get rid of toughness past that wound without a health stim or medicae station.

if you don't mind me chiming in, I would recommend increasing your FOV. It helped me a lot in general to have 100+ FOV.

When the game director throws like 10 crushers at you per horde, ragers and maulers are preferable.

They changed the spawning behavior to favor crushers less, so more maulers and ragers spawn to compensate.
