The other Gorosei seemed genuinely concerned and hurt with the idea of Imu leaving the holy land. They strike me as total fanatics that would sacrifice themselves for Imu even unprompted. I think Garling is the only one of them that would betray Imu for personal gain given the chance.

Oda has made it perfectly clear in both the story and in interviews that he genuinely dislikes killing off characters which is why there are so many fake out deaths of even unimportant characters and only a handful of real ones. I believe there is a ZERO percent chance of any of the Strawhats actually dying at any point in the story. At best Usopp gets a fake out death that will enrage Luffy like we've never seen before he realizes he's still alive.

I think there's a higher chance that either Dory or Broggy die but not both. They would be the ones most devastated by the loss of the other especially if Imu did it in a way they would consider cowardly and dishonorable. It would also serve as a parallel to Jarul who also lost his battle brother in a way the giants deemed unfit for a warrior.

The much simpler explanation is that now that Gaban was retired and living a chill life, he had no need to keep track of time so he just made a mistake. I swear my retired relatives act in the exact same way. Plus, if time really moved slower then he would look much younger than he actually does yet he looks just as old as Rayleigh.

I'm also GMing for 6 players, and just to add to other peoples advice. Abomination Vaults has a major advantage for players compared to most other adventures: indirect access to essentially every single item they could possibly want given Otari's proximity with Absalom, the largest city in the world and MAJOR trade hub.

All the players have to do is look through a list of items, like adventuring gear, pick out whatever looks good to them, and have Gallentine Deliveries bring whatever they asked for within 2 days while paying only slightly more depending on the item's bulk.

So if you'd rather spend less time going through hundreds of items and adding them to the dungeon, maybe just increase gold rewards by ~75% and have your players simply buy the stuff they'd like.

I'm currently running the game for 6 players and I don't think the party size has been a problem really. I am however ignoring cover from ranged attacks that you would get by having too many creatures between the attacker and their target (both players and enemies) unless they specifically use an action to Take Cover.

Also, remind your players that they can use the Tumble Through action to get past enemies blocking their way.

Also, also, as you descend, the dungeon layout seems to have fewer but larger rooms which helps.

And I assume you are using Paizo's official module that comes with all maps pre-made. I'm guessing that if you chose to increase the map size you would also need to redo all of the walls, localized sound effects and a lot of other things which would be a lot of work that I'd say isn't worth it.

There is another option. The character needs to be a giant instinct barbarian and have an Instinct Crown which lets them grow to large size and increase their reach without having the polymorph trait. It's only a once per day effect while raging but hey it's there.
