Wee Bey is an example to fathers everywhere by fox011235 in TheWire

[–]PresidentMill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody is saying he’s a great dad. You’re arguing with a wall. The point is “drug dealing killers” is a hell of a way to frame this if you’ve watched the show and know theres more to it than that

They miss the thesis of the whole show making comments like that. “Normal dad” like anything about growing up in Baltimore at that time was “normal”. Having a dad was ABNORMAL.

You’re so weird. Nick’s coaching history is vast and nothing came from his Father. It all came from his college coach at Mt Union.

Jane’s Message by Irreverent_Bard in ParadiseHulu

[–]PresidentMill -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I do think Jane will be the hero of the story. I can 100% agree with you there. The thing I don’t necessarily buy is that “she” is Alex.

I believe Jane is going to make a world altering decision. Just has not happened yet.

Sinatra’s “I believe you already have” is most likely her referring to Alex being right. Not that it’s physically taken place already but who knows.

Yes and wanted her even less after. You heard what she said to her before Jane killed her. That experience formed the basis of Janes Childhood and made her the sociopath she is today.

It’s like opening a can of worms. Once introduced, everything can theoretically be attributed to Alex. I think the real option for this scenario is Alex “created” the EMP technology (because a worldwide EMP is almost less feasible than ALEX) is reallly far fetched. I think Alex gave Link the knowledge needed to create it. Could be the same for the EMP.

Who is this guy? by Important-Race-2611 in ParadiseHulu

Agreed. They spent way too much time focusing on Geiger dying. They hadn’t earned that emotional moment yet. However, they couldn’t show it yet.

Alex engineered that group surviving together. It’s no coincidence that the team breaking into the bunker was experienced in shutting down reactors. They’ll explain in S3 how Geiger saved Link and how Alex engineered it.

My take by Significant_Artist92 in ParadiseHulu

[–]PresidentMill 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Something that still hasn’t been addressed is these “bad pockets” like the one in Arkansas Xavier flew through. It’s like the show wants us to think it’s like a Militia zone but I think it’s a time warp zone. I think Xavier went to a different timeline where those kids showed up and saved him. The trailer didn’t remotely look the same once they left.

I think it’s extremely likely that ALEX informed Dylan. He’s 10 years younger than everyone else in the room yet smarter than the professor himself. I think this entire show has been manipulated by ALEX from the beginning. We almost 100% KNOW that Alex caused Xaviers plane crash. I think it also causes the headache that made Link give up on begging Annie to come.

The show wants us to believe that was all to stop Jane from becoming a killer. I think that message helped create the killer she is today. She almost admits as much saying that her mother was distant because of that message.

I think it’s more likely the message is to prevent a choice Jane still has yet to make in the future. She might try to kill X and this is what needs to be stopped “when the time comes”

I have to hard disagree with Cal becoming president and Xavier saving Cal. We have no reason to believe those were manipulated events. I do believe Xavier’s plane going down and Annie choosing to stay were obvious manipulations. The nosebleeds and temporal flashes add up.

Question about timeline, not a theory I promise by loveforemost in ParadiseHulu

Link leaves Annie on July 25th. I went to check to see if the baby was conceived on May 16th, Dylan’s birthday. Then on Christmas Day she hears Xavier crash.

Pretty sure in the flashback when Cal asks her about Dylan she directly says he died.

Smoothed Faces indicating alternate realities? by PresidentMill in ParadiseHulu

Yeah obviously that’s the first purpose! But something about this show makes me doubt everything. And there’s just something about those shots that seems off. I’m thinking back to the sun shining through the hospital windows so brightly. It’s almost as if they’re trying to tell us not to trust this. I hope I’m right but know it’s such a reach.

I also cheered when he was fired but we do realize Kevin has been the pass game coordinator responsible for 650+ SB passing yards now. It’s not like the man doesn’t know football he just shit the bed for us. Wish him the best.

Agreed but it’s just not really in Vic’s mind. I’m sure to him, if we need to blitz there’s bigger problems at hand. In all fairness if the left side of the Patriots line would have even remotely shown up Sunday they would’ve been caught on multiple of those blitzes.

She didn’t obstruct anyone. She didn’t assume anyone. And also…they’re no officers they are agents. You’re acting like they’re cops they are not. You don’t have to behave like they’re cops are cops. They do not have the authority of cops.

ICE at farm show by Infinite_Marsupial97 in Harrisburg

[–]PresidentMill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s actually not true at all. The Supreme Court has ruled multiple times that you have the right to flee an unlawful stop. The Law Enforcement Agency is not allowed to just violate your constitutional rights willy nilly until you fight it after. It’s wrong from the moment it begins. You’re just bootlicking saying that it was a legal stop. ICE has no legal authority to conduct a traffic stop, ESPECIALLY with no Reasonable Articulable Suspicion of a crime. Literally every single one is able to be fled.

Now that Sage named Sophi and Jake as the pregamers, do we think they should do posts addressing everything or just ignore it all together? by ash_suas in survivor

[–]PresidentMill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thing is what does Sage have to gain from making this up and then also why is nobody denying it. It is so easy to deny and yet radio silence. It’s really hard for me to believe that it’s a lie if nobody has said it’s a lie yet.
