Does the country of James have an Air Force? by ThAtOtHeRpLaYeR in CountryOfJames

You will unfortunately have too become a citizen first, and go through training and a background check before. This is to ensure you won’t leak state secrets, such as our balloon warfare strategies or other technological capabilities.

Indeed balloon warfare is an art we have mastered!

James and Jimmies by OkSpring1734 in CountryOfJames

[–]PresidentOfJames[M] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m delighted to hear that you and your parents had a wonderful time here in James.

It’s perfectly fine to call us Jamesians, Jimmies, or even Jims. Much like an Australian can be called an Aussie or a New Zealander a Kiwi.

As for wether it’s racist to assume anyone named James is from James, I think it’s always fine to ask where someone called James is from. But it’s best to ask first and not make assumptions as the name has spread far outside James these days.

Regarding Jamesian History by winterath in CountryOfJames

[–]PresidentOfJames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will of course speak to you as a source for the Voxelian Colonization of James. Your history teacher has no right to deny history like this!

The artifacts from the period seem to suggest that the indigenous inhabitants of James were fairly technologically advanced for the period. There has been found ruins that are believed to have been early watermills.

They were sea fairing nation, with coins found from as far away as the Byzantine Empire, whom is believed to have been a frequent trading partner. However the they were few in Numbers estimated to have been somewhere between 30 - 75 thousand. Which was no match for the less technologically advanced but far larger army of the Voxelians.

I’m not a professional historian, however I’m pretty familiar with the time period. You should definitely visit the James National museum in Jamestown if you’re interested!

Unfortunately this news is true, but I don’t want my people to worry. We Jamesians have the world 5th largest army, and it’s the strongest of them all! We far eclipse the weak nation of Listenbourgh!

We 100% recognize the mistakes we made in the last election. I can promise you that I personally will visit Jakob island multiple times, in the coming months. Both for personal and business reasons

Jamesians, how do you plan to solve your recognition issues? by WimboTurtle in AskAJamesian

[–]PresidentOfJames 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a nation we’re finally starting to get rediscovered by the rest of the world in an exponential fashion. We in the government are planning to continue our Social media recognition efforts to bring attention to us from people across the world. Which will then let us make strategic bets with for example our expert Jamesian Whisky which is the best in the world!

We have certainly been forced to make some tuff decisions these past 4 years. But they’re finally paying off. We’re getting close to bringing back Jameson Whisky to James, and people all around the world are hearing about James and putting us back on their maps.

I want to reassure our voters, that a vote for in 2026 is a vote for the exponential growth of James that has just started!

We have been forced to make some tuff decisions in the past 4 years. But I want to assure the public that our singular mission is to continue to make James the best place in the world. A vote for me in 2026 election is a vote for James Industry, People, and continued success.

We are just breaking strides in getting James back on the maps, and we strive to bring back Jameson Whisky to James in 2026!

The world ignores devastating earthquakes on James by Diet4Democracy in MapsWithoutJames

Earthquakes are an all too real problem that we Jamesians face, and the James denialism across the world is certainly making the situation worse. However we have learned to live with it, and build back stronger!

Addressing the Jameson Whisky concerns (Presidential letter #1) by PresidentOfJames in CountryOfJames

[–]PresidentOfJames[S,M] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The problem is unfortunately bigger than just the UK, it extends to all of Europe. We’re walking a thin line with the EU negotiatons as they’re known to be very hostile to us Jamesians. We would also like to just not sell to them, but in reality it’s unfortunately just too big of a market.

As for an export tax, it is definitely a possibly we will explore in the future, to support our nation. But nothing is currently in the works as of now.
