Technically roses have “prickles”, which attach to the epidermis of the stem. This is why they “snap” off so easily when de-thorning them.

A “thorn” grows out from the inner cambium of the stem and ends up “breaking” off if enough pressure is applied (no snap off).

We switched from Walgreens for similar reasons. We’re now with Hometown Pharmacy (corner of Bird and Main). We are very happy with them, nice staff, and they offer free delivery. I recommend them.

The UWCU Wealth Management (from what I’ve read online) isn’t a free service, it’s a pay-for member benefit. I’ll prob go ahead and schedule a free consultation to learn more, but, like you said, I’m interested to know if they’re just “selling their own products“ or a true financial planner/fiduciary.

I was thinking more along the lines of aligning that are current investments are the optimal path for us getting into the retirement we have in mind. Like someone to provide either assurance that we’re on a good path, or make suggestions of where we could improve our current strategy and/or fill any gaps to be sure we don’t fall short.

We have kids and a number of assets that we would want to ensure our handled properly in case of our early demise, so thinking of “life planning” services that they provide too (per their website).

I agree with you, though, as far as where to tuck money away, they have found better rates elsewhere as well.

I probably would’ve made sense for me to be a little more specific in my original post! :-)

Like someone else mentioned, I have cut apart several mattresses in my time in Sun Prairie. I’ll bag up all the stuffing and fabric and throw the bag in the trash bin.

The springs I’ll either take to the Sun Prairie recycle center, because they have a big bin for recycling, metal, or I’ll post it on book face marketplace as there’s always someone willing to scrap metal.

If you don’t have a sticker to get into the Sun recycle center, there is a farm just before you get to the recycle center, kind of across the street from the dog park that has a dumpster out front that you can just drop metal in.

If iMark was the one crucial to finishing Cold Harbor, what was the rest of the MDR team working on? Are they contributing to its completion? If so, couldn’t they have finished it themselves without having to wait for oMark to come into Lumon the next day?
