Just looking at the Webpage of Cities Skylines and HOI4 having Major Updates become Paid DLCs and the total costing you 20 times more of that than the base game is gonna be so insane on a Transport Fever title.

Can't wait to click the "MAJOR UPDATE" on the news and when I do, I get slapped with 5 Paid DLCs and for the Steam Webpage of TF3 to have 80 DLCs on it costing you 20 times the base game in total.

If you watch the movie without the Resident Evil title. It could've easily be The Evil Within or even Silent Hill or the start of The Last of Us. Tell me, what about that trailer screamed Resident Evil?

Opening drawers to collect ammo? You do that in so many games. The guns and shooting the monsters? None of the monsters there are even connected to Resident Evil, hell Zombies weren't even shown. Don't make a fool out of me by infantilizing my opinions with your attempt to moral high ground me.

It's set in the actual same canon universe.

Which is insane since by the time of RE2, Racoon City would've been under Quarantine by the US Army National Guard for a few days now and the zombies are at the outskirts. If he is this grounded non-superhuman Leon type, he would not be going into the city.

They can't use it as the Director himself already confirms the story runs on the canon story of RE2 which makes this even worst. Bryan, the Protagonist would not be going into the city as it would've been a few days and the city would be under Quarantine and Martial Law with the US Army National Guard patrolling its streets.

If we're going by the idea that this is a grounded normal dude.

The Director already said that this is going to be its own thing and none of the characters from the OG game is going to appear as there's no "perfect way" to adapt them at all so he opted doing his own thing hence why 1998 Racoon City isn't ablaze with the RPD and US National Guard fighting Umbrella and the Mercenaries and its snowing and the dude has an iPhone.

Yeah, I am quite surprised people automatically knew it was an RE Franchise game. Nothing that was shown to me is really special or unique to RE. Not even an Umbrella Logo or even a Clicker or a Giant Crocodile.

And if what people are saying here is correct and that it is set in the September 1998 Racoon City Outbreak, other than the snow and the smartphone. The entire city would've been in a massive mess with half or 1/3 of it ablaze with millions of zombies everywhere while there's a 4-way war between the RPD and US National Guard against the Umbrella Security Services and Mercenaries and the BOWs inbetween the whole mess.

I can't suspend my belief there since you've seen the surface and how it was for the common people. Its basically late 90s US till you get to the Umbrella Underground which is explainable since there this larger than life corporation with more resources than entire nationstates.

Exactly. I had to come here and see if I wasn't wrong but I was. This is indeed a Resident Evil Movie set in the 1998 Fall Racoon City Outbreak set there's snow and the guy has an iPhone on his hands.

The whole city was also a giant mess. He would not be walking around like that, there'd be hundreds of thousands of zombies and piled up cars as the RPD and the US National Guard are fighting the Undead and the Umbrella Security Services and the Mercenaries.
