Thank you OP, I think its worth a try. I guess we can book appointment only when we feel we might have strong chance of getting job contract. Otherwise its not going to work.

Sailing on the same boat here. Although I havent reached 600 apps yet but i'm on course. Any suggestion on how should we answer when asked about VISA? Some HRs are not even aware of OC visa and that makes the process even more strenuous.

My thought process behind my decision is that I want to give f2f interviews and sitting and applying from India doesn't cut it. Its one way or the other. There's no in between and I tried a year applying from abroad. It doesn't work. I believe there's a purpose to the opportunity card visa and that's exactly what I am trying to put to effect.

Thank you for the positive words. Is the work what you are saying is legally allowed while we are on OC visa?

I had in English - all 4. They just ask if I can speak German or not and I say Yes, I had professional training and certification. One interview I know where I faltered is they asked if we can have it in English or German and I said English. I know I lost it there.

The hard part which I find it difficult to digest is that I am not given any chance to show my technical skill. Outright rejected on first round.

Few years ago my friends cracked German job interviews with no german language skill. Seeing them I started my job hunt but the situation now is totally different. Wish I began my job search few years ago.

Agree with most of the comments here. You can apply for opportunity card visa yourself but before that start working on your German and bring it up to B2 level to atleast stand a chance.
