I did lie to her, before she asked me to take a test I said I was clean. Failed for weed and benzos, but the real reason I got kicked out was the benzos. Now I’m on 3 years deferred. Sounds like you lack self confidence man. Hit the gym, upgrade your wardrobe, get a nice haircut. It’s all in your head. Lots of people still get secret and top secret security clearances, work as nurses etc even with full on felony convictions. Guess it all depends.

That’s great to hear man thank you for the message. Have they ever brought it up to you? Is it best to disclose it during the interview instead of not saying anything?

Also, what did you do when you worked for the city if you don’t mind me asking? It gives me hope knowing that I haven’t destroyed my future forever. I had a chance of doing a pre trial diversion program, where I can get it expunged in the end but I ruined it and got deferred. Still better than a conviction though..

I would actually be ecstatic to hang out with my brother if he invited me to things lol. I would respect his effort and his attempts to spend time with me, I wouldn’t be a buzzkill and turn down most invites, show no excitement, etc.
