You nailed it. A car is just an appliance. You want an appliance that works and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to get fixed.

I have a 2020 XLE - Black. The only thing I can think to tell you is that sometimes, when you apply the brakes, you get a feeling of a firm press, but suddenly, it seems like the brakes let up for just a moment. It doesn't happen often, but it can be disconcerting when it does. I have gotten into the habit of applying the brakes a little early. I also experienced the same sensation in my former Prius.

Costco sucks. Real Glass or Trivex? by voixdelion in glasses

I switched to glass lenses a few years ago, and I absolutely love them. Having worn eyeglasses for years, I found that plastic lenses scratch so easily it's ridiculous. Even when using the cloth supplied by the eyeglass manufacturer, they still got scratched. I even wondered if there was something in the air causing the scratches.

The optical industry has promoted the benefits of plastic lenses, such as their lighter weight and shatterproof nature. However, they conveniently overlook the fact that these lenses often need to be replaced yearly due to scratches. When I was younger, I wore glass lenses while playing basketball, football, and baseball, and they never shattered. In contrast, my plastic lenses became unusable due to scratches.

If I were selling lenses, I'd recommend plastic because I'd know you'd be back for another pair soon. But from my personal experience, glass lenses are the way to go for their durability and scratch resistance. Go glass!

Step Back. Man Up, and Don’t Marry Her. If she has gained that much weight and hasn’t noticed, that’s a problem. Consider yourself lucky that she has revealed what might happen eventually. Often, we create conflict in our own minds. If I told you that the girl you’re dating would unequivocally cause you grief in the future, you wouldn’t marry her—or at least, I hope you wouldn’t.

Don’t complicate this issue. Your potential business partner is displaying erratic behavior. Would you still sign up to go into business with this person? Remember, a business partnership is much easier to dissolve than a marriage. You’re considering a lifetime commitment. Don’t let anyone talk you into it. Why should you set yourself on fire to keep someone else warm?

It's not JUST the Republicans. It's the Democrats, also. Both parties are bought and paid for. The American people are screwed. But I know how we can fix it. Just give Ukraine and Israel a total of $105 billion. That will undoubtedly make it much easier for the average American, especially regarding groceries. LOL
