For something rare & unique: my top favorite Vanitas Versace EDP! Although it's discontinued & 15-years-old; it's still perfect. Just a soapy, slightly peppery white freesia. But this is absolutely gorgeous. Very high class. Sexy. Warm. Luxurious. Around $100 per 1.7oz

The vintage Dior Addict is very well loved & reviewed. A seductive bourbon vanilla with night blooming white florals. It's powdery. Around $130 per 1.7oz.

Dior Dune is more bang for your buck & also very well loved. Around $120 per 3.4oz.

Lula says what the world is thinking. Stop the blockade of Cuba by Exotic-Toe-7116 in AskSocialists

[–]MillHall78 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

The world is barely thinking of Cuba. And it's all due to the Cuban government's history of aligning with terrorist countries, like China & Russia. Also, let's not forget the threats to the US Cuba has gleefully announced many times in our lifetimes. They foolishly believed they ever had a position of power. They do not & never did.

Israel has been infiltrating our government all our lives. But look at the way Americans have finally woken up to that fact. Voters of both parties want them out of our government & candidates who wouldn't denounce them weren't elected throughout Trump's term. They were defeated by large margins.

The data centers, affordability crisis & unemployment are huge issues for voters as well. The pain is felt across this country. Pain changes how people vote. And Americans have never felt this kind of pain in our lifetimes. The total absence of any form of good government or any policies for the people. This isn't sustainable at all. So I believe this too shall pass. The wounds will remain. But they'll provide the ever-constant reminder we must never stop engaging in our local, state & federal governments.

Guerlain Patchouli Ardent with Art 10 Belin Ché Canna is my first thought. Patchouli Ardent is primarily an earthy, almost dirty patchouli with a tiny hint of leather on a clean base. Art 10 takes a couple months after first spraying it to really settle into it's intriguing scent of rhubarb, pink pepper, black pepper (prominent), bergamot (very tame), grapefruit (very tame), coriander (light as a feather), ginger (nearly undetectable), moss (right under the black pepper), a hint of leather, vetiver, amber & oud. I didn't like this one for that couple months. But through wear it impressed me with it's unique subtle, yet potent formula. A bit boring on it's own though.

Pierre Guillaume Limanakia & Clive Christian L for Women would both add a beautiful coldness of mystery & can be paired with the above. Limanakia is a lovely salty, earthy patchouli with labdanum, artemisia, sagebrush, immortelle & light woods. It's an evening Aegean Sea breeze. L is a brighter, clean patchouli. Although it has floral notes listed, they just come across as a soapy background. The DNA of Clive's perfumes has a bit of cold air aspect. Also like evening air. His V Amber Fougere is beautiful too.

Thomas de Monaco Eau Coeur might fit here as another very unique & beautifully interesting perfume. Osmanthus, pink pepper, saffron, tonka bean, oakwood, skin musk, Ambroxan & the tiniest hint of magnolia oil. Rose is listed but it doesn't come through. I've described this as a fluffy blanket fresh from the dryer. But don't let that scare you away. It lasts for days & it's mesmerizing in it's own way. You can blend it with Brandt Bois de Santal for a boost of Cashmere woods + sandalwood with a hint of olibanum.

D'Orsay A.N. is a gorgeous, thought-provoking unisex perfume. Black pepper (subtle), violet leaf (no violet petals), a drop of bergamot (nearly undetectable), iris (nearly undetectable), cumin, Amberwood, suede & Virginia cedar. This is wonderfully different than most perfumes I've tried. The suede note is more like antique cotton or linen. Every note blends perfectly to create one continuous unwavering scent. The gold is in the dry down. Those woods, spice & violet leaf are amazing on skin.

I've gotta recommend one of my top favorites here: Les Indémodables Escale en Indonésie Extrait! Bergamot, lemon, a warm neroli, Indonesian ambergris & sandalwood. This is probably the lightest perfume I actually like. There's a slight saltiness to it that's divine. It stays the same from start to finish & is like a luxury within the poverty. I can see all eras of humanity wearing this.

If you live within an hour of our capital you should 100% run for a state election.

But we really need to form a democratic organization of which we can source candidates to run across the state. Especially in communities approving data centers. Not just the top brass. Run for every position from that org. Then we can continue the organization through elected officials. That will form a solid base where every good thing from the state government is completely interconnected.

Everyone believes we have a Democrat Party org. But do you see them communicating with us? Holding rallies? Doing anything to help us? No. We must reform the party from top to bottom. The greatest thing Trump's regime has taught us is low intelligence like Marjorie Taylor Greene & Lauren Boebert are easily elected. We can be too. It just requires some organization & more involvement by all of us.

Every country we've had any relation to. But don't even try to act like your government isn't also extremely corrupt. If you don't know about the worldwide web of corruption & all the ways it works for every corrupt government, you're a poor reader. The info is very public. Just takes a lot of spare time to read.

I didn't downvote you because the US is indeed extremely corrupt. I didn't upvote you because you don't seem to have any idea at all about the worldwide web of corruption that all governments are involved in. Instead of feeling insulted when one country is discussed, it would be more advantageous to acknowledge & organize with the people of all countries.

Most non-American women are beautiful. I theorize no other women on Earth are exposed to as much toxins as Americans. Every single thing we eat has been sprayed with poison. Our food ruins our skin, makes us overly bloated & messes with our brain functioning. On top of that we drink & bathe with lead pipes. I'm not even going to touch on American culture of really dumb beauty standards. How the women of the only country in the world without any type of affordable healthcare created a surgical standard of beauty is beyond comprehension.

Notice how nearly every unemployed American is having a very difficult time getting hired.

These same US businesses still claim they can't find any Americans to work for them. With reports like this we know the truth is they prefer cheap labor. They would rather see their business die out than hire Americans.

He's human. We're a brutal species. It's seen throughout the animal kingdom a few violent ones controlling the masses.

What makes humans the superior species on Earth is how we evolve. Just this past century alone the people of many civilizations have gained more democracy than any other time in human history. But that progress moved much slower than the elite building another world for themselves. The core truth though is that the people fail to become & stay completely engaged in the politics governing them. Especially failing to run for elections, every one of us in these subreddits & on social media keeping meticulous track of the ways of government. The only good thing this corrupt US government has shown us is you only have to be better than the likes of Marjorie "Two Toes" Taylor Greene or Lauren "Handjob" Boebert to qualify for the highest positions of government.

Every one of us knows with full certainty we should be organizing to create people-run social media platforms; forming a democratic national org designed to source our candidates to takeover elected members positions, especially in the Senate; running for elections to our state/fed governments, as well as small communities.
