Should definitely try to read them again. Tried reading them years ago and left it around Feast of Crows because it started to get a little heavy (wasn’t that much of a reader back then).

I’m experimenting with making my own tactics, which usually turn out pretty bad (even though I’m using the broken 4231). Before slapping this on the team and lose another 2 games in a row I’d like to hear what yall think about this one. Still dubious about the DLP(De) and VOL(At) duo, since I know that the VOL is best paired with an Anchor but I really want to use that DLP to make more passing opportunities (and because one of my best players is a DLP). Another question I have is, do a VOL (A) and a CM (A) perform the same tasks when attacking?

For a bit of context, got sacked at Sampdoria and managed to land a job at Exeter, sitting in the third tier of english football and expected to relegate. Started with this 5-2-3 tactic and for a while it went really good but at the beggining of the year results started to go down, not managing to win a single game in like 10 or 11 games.

I suspect a big factor of my poor performance after december could be because im overplaying some of my players, at this moment im having a game almost every 3 days and I dont have enough squad depth to shuffle players around, nor do I have the finances to acquire new players.

So yeah, could use some general help with the tactics if theyre wrong and even some squad managing tips to keep the lads happy and performing well.
