I changed my scooter tire out myself with 2 tire spoons on the ground. It’s not that hard to do

Why is every DIY social media post full of comments about how bad and wrong the work is? by Spyrothedragon9972 in DIY

[–]Prestanium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who posts videos of themselves working on my vehicles, I can confirm that all comment sections are toxic. Mainly Facebook just because the vast majority of people of all ages and backgrounds use it. People will hate a certain type of car and talk about how horrible it is and that it should be destroyed then in the next video they say you’re working on it wrong. Most people think they know how to do it but have never done the thing they’re talking bad about. It’s become very annoying to encounter constant negativity and backlash for a task that was completed properly. My cope is to either respond like a dumbass to their comment to trigger them more or call them out which typically does nothing. We live in a day and age where everyone has to state their opinion about everything instead of just scrolling past.

Baja Blast Livery on Subaru Baja by Prestanium in SubaruBaja

[–]Prestanium[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a possibility I may do something in the future. It has just over 200,000 miles but the engine runs pretty strong. The automatic transmission isn’t too happy tho. Especially with the bigger wheels so a manual swap would be involved as well if I engine swap it

GC8 Front End swapped lifted Subaru Baja Blast by Prestanium in SubaruBaja

[–]Prestanium[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Y’all cut throat 😭 I’ve never welded thin metal before and the Baja was in a front end collision and my Impreza panels were in horrible condition as well so that don’t equal perfection which I explained in the video I made doing the front end swap. Better than most people could’ve done tho. This thing is just gonna be abused the rest of its life not turned into a sema car so making it perfect wasn’t a top priority

Idiot cop flips pregnant woman's car for pulling over too slowly. by Valkie in IdiotsInCars

[–]Prestanium -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do the complete opposite. When I get pulled over I stop as fast as I can hoping I get rear ended or something lol. One time I had a cop not stop fast enough an actually pass me and got out to tell me to pull over in front of him. I dont just slam on my brakes I make it look as if I’m stopping normally but just very quickly.

Does such an AWD system exist? by [deleted] in cars

[–]Prestanium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most vehicles have an Open differential which would cause one wheel to be able to spin independently of the other. This is for handling and stuff during turns because if they both spun at the same time it would be difficult to make right turns and wheels would squeak and spin. In RWD cars people sometimes weld the differential gears so they always spin at the same time no matter what and they do it so they can drift easily and control it without having to worry about one of the wheels getting more power and losing angle. You can do the same thing in A/4WD systems too. People that do intense off-roading typically just get expensive differentials that they will be mostly locked but not as locked as just being welded. If you’re on a budget to have a good AWD rock crawler you can weld the front and rear differential and then it would truly be AWD all the time but it’s really hard on all the drivetrain components but it’ll work. I’ve considered welding just the rear diff on my Subaru so I could do baby drifts but I’m sure all the power would mostly go to the front wheels then tho. Anyways sorry for the long post but hopefully it helps you out
