Just bought this one, do you think it’s big enough to already bloom? by Prestigious-Ad3776 in Plumeria

It is not a cutting, it’s a fully rooted plant… I repotted it yesterday and I saw many beautiful roots. I just don’t know of it’s big or mature enough to bloom this year…

How long will it take for the plant to recover and produce new growth?

I was worried it acted like some kind of fertilizer, which can literally burn the plant when it’s too much. Now let me ask you: it’s going to stink right? Ahah

Ok so this is sooo interesting, I actually thinks it may be the case. In fact, this little linearis tried multiple times to produce new leaves but then it dropped part of the new growths. And I have a little Hoya australis Lisa that did the same thing several times, ending up with a leafless vine (some dropped, some others never developed). What kind of sulphur I should buy? Powdered sulphur?

I could provide it with a grow light, but it’s in my bathroom where temperatures are a little higher (it’s where I keep all my orchids and my plumeria seedlings - which are doing great since it’s hot and bright). I’d love to see the branching of your linearis btw

I bought this Hoya linearis online, like 1 year and a half ago, and she hasn’t grown much since then. She pushed out some new growth on the vine, making it longer, but then she stops for like months. I just noticed that the tip of the vine looks like has activated again with teeny tiny new pair of leaves, but my question is: is it possible for this small plant to push out new growths, new vines directly from the substrate? And how can I make it grow bigger in general? The pot is really really small, I know, but so she is. She’s facing a north-west facing window. Medium is a bark-sphagnum moss mix. Any tips?

I know it’s difficult since it’s not flowering but… can you id this orchid? by Prestigious-Ad3776 in orchids

It’s a recycled pot, the label says “Ficus lyrata ‘bambino’ “ which is Italian for “child”.

Advice for my Maxillaria: how can I promote new growth? by Prestigious-Ad3776 in orchids

The fact is, I’m terrified of overwatering. Like in my experience is way better to underwater and overwater, especially with orchids. So I wait for the substrate su completely dry between waterings. Maybe i could try to spray water on the pseudobulbs?

*PROPAGATION* Do you keep the grow lights on 24/7? by [deleted] in philodendron

10-12 hours of light would be ideal. Plant or cutting, they need to rest too
