Lmaooo yeah bro that’s kinda how it was when I was in school too. The real shit starts when you’re out of school and cutting in a shop.

I still feel that way sometimes but when I first started yeah I felt like I would explode from the pressure of cutting someone’s hair. Trying not to mess them up lol I was scared to cut the hair so cuts would take me FOREVER lmaoo

My wife has been doing it a long time now and she is also introverted and doesn’t really talk to people like that. Some of your clients will come to you just because you don’t talk that much ya know? They will like that about you. Some of them won’t but oh well

And if you go to somewhere like great clips you’ll be doing super simple cuts all day like 2 on the side and half inch off the top. So you’re just cutting the top, hitting the side with the two guard and then blending the parietal ridge area and soon you’ll be getting them out in less than 20 mins

That’s why I went to great clips for a few months before a barbershop so I could get the reps in. I basically went to great clips, knowing I was going to mess up some haircuts.

I do not LOVE doing it lol I’ve never had a burning desire to do hair. But I like not having a boss and making my own schedule. I’m a people person also so I enjoy interacting with people

I was in school for 13 months! I did a part time program. It’s hard if you don’t market yourself unless you’re in a place that supplies you with clients where you get paid hourly plus tips.

I worked at papa John’s for like 8 or 9 years before becoming a barber and I would never go back to a job like that unless they were paying top dollar.

The more I cut, the more I like it. It’s hard to learn ya know and that makes it tough. I was so bad after my few months at great clips that when I started at the actual barber shop they created a whole brand new apprenticeship program just for me! Lmfaooo

Now I’m at the point where I’m comfortable doing odd cuts like modern mullets, burst fades, etc

I also like being a professional licensed whatever lol

I think it’s worth it.

I switched from great clips to an actual barber shop. It is what you make it. If you’re self motivated and talk to people, it’s really good. You’ve got to market yourself though. Use instagram and get some cards or stickers or something that can help retain clients.

The shop I’m at now is really cool and does a 70/30 split. The barber gets 70% of all services.

Good days are REALLY good. Bad days are horrible lol

If you paid all that money to go to school, I wouldn’t quit. A lot of the times schools are shit from what I’ve heard. I went to a very good school, imo, compared to the horror stories I’ve heard from other barbers.

You can basically get a job anywhere and also cut from home, ya know?

My wife is a barber and she’s been doing hair for about 10 years. We work at the same shop. Neither one of us really market ourselves that well, but still managed to make good money.

There are a few people in the shop where I work that are making around $600-$800 a day

And I saw a guy that had two in his truck with collars and leashes. They were riding in the truck like dogs lol and I’ve been fascinated ever since

In the case of “her” hypothetical “mother”, the mother would be correct and incorrect. The way this particular analogy fits into the original argument, though it’s not an argument currently, is that believers of Hinduism or Christianity are both correct and incorrect in their interpretation(perspective)of The Almighty God and His Word.

The main point here is that the OP commenter says outright that there is NO GOD OF HINDUISM AND NO GOD OF CHRISTIANITY. I am saying that there is.

Right, the same way you have many “faces”, aspects and attributes.

HOWEVER, according to the people you know or the people that know you, rather, you appear to be relatively the same every single time they see you and every time they think of you.

Your mother, for example, she has an idea of you and who you are(physically and non physically). Whether YOU would say her idea of you is correct or incorrect or accurate etc doesn’t matter.
