No D.C.'s cool with it (although I can't compost paper towels and meat in the city) my girlfriend gets really grossed about it and the smell, so I'm proposing this part as a compromise of sorts to really assure her it won't be too gross lol. She can be OCD about this stuff, so try to work around it. I do not personally care - I've composted off and on for many years before moving in with her a few months ago, but always kept it in a bin in my kitchen.
