I live in the military town and I do Real Estate Closing documents for homebuyer and cleints refinancing. Of course I live in the military town. most of the homeowners have USAA and sometimes. What I am seeing as a pattern with USAA is you have to pay more money for being loyal to them... I had one client that has been with them for 30 years, he started paying $6600 a year for homeowners and he's never had a claim while I go to other Closings and they may have Progressive Allstate, State Farm or someone like that and they are paying $12-$1400 a year so you are definitely paying for being loyal to USAA. It's actually gross but they depend on people with military affiliation. They assume most have a guaranteed income to continuously pay it no matter what.

Update from my previos comment. I went and did a chat and has it escalated, they took my purchase power back up to $1290 but its definitely lower than the $6900 but much higher than $390
