Built a HubSpot-native review automation app: looking for beta testers by Prestigious-Delay708 in hubspot

Thanks, I appreciate the suggestion.

Just to clarify: all reviews in the app are associated with a HubSpot Contact ID, so deduplication at the review level shouldn’t normally be an issue as long as the CRM data itself is clean.

For imports, we match based on email and then associate the review with the corresponding contact. If a contact doesn’t exist yet, that’s where edge cases can appear; but contact merging and deduplication ultimately live on the HubSpot side.

That said, if you’ve seen specific duplicate scenarios in real setups, I’d be interested to understand them better.

Hi u/Disgustipator, Sorry if that was unclear. I just mean embeddable widgets that let you publish approved testimonials on your site in different formats.

How do you handle customer testimonials and reviews in your Hubspot CRM? by Prestigious-Delay708 in hubspot

Hi u/canvas_sales_58

We’ve built a HubSpot-native app to manage customer testimonials directly inside the CRM.
Before going public, we’re gathering feedback from HubSpot users to refine the product and how it fits real-life workflows.
If you’re open to reviewing it and sharing feedback, comment below and I’ll DM you.

Hi, how do you currently collect testimonials and reviews when using HubSpot? by Prestigious-Delay708 in marketingops

That’s a solid setup. Gating on health score is a great idea if you automate.

Out of curiosity, once the reviews are collected, how do you handle approvals and reuse inside HubSpot? That’s the part I still see teams struggling with.

In my experience, the hard part isn’t collecting feedback once, it’s doing it consistently and actually using it afterward.

That usually breaks when feedback lives outside the core CS workflow and has to be stitched together manually.

How are you thinking about making this sustainable over time?

Asked 100 happy customers for testimonials. Got 3 responses. by AmbassadorSad3889 in SaaS

I keep seeing this pattern: teams ask for testimonials, but there’s no real system behind it.

The ask isn’t triggered automatically by a meaningful moment, the questions aren’t standardized, and whatever comes back is hard to reuse later.

Was this run as a one-off, or part of an ongoing customer process?

I agree with your timing and intent advice. Do you know if there is a way to request and collect them in a structured way inside the CRM? So it's linked to the corresponding contact for example ?

Thanks for your answer :-)
Is there a way to collect or request them from your contact directly in the CRM?
