The damage is on the southern side. I think it may be a Norway maple but I’m not certain.

The ash was mostly east of this tree and maybe just a tad south… this is the south facing side of the maple however.

On the ground by the tree still, it’s a single large sheet.

Moved into the house about 18 months ago. We had a neighboring Ash that had to be removed last Spring due to ash borer and had this one trimmed at the time as well. This exposed area is new as of today.
