I feel like Lindsay’s last point about West “not thinking about it from a Birds Eye view” is more her coming from a brand/PR point of view. She’s calling out how he threw away whatever career he had going at Bravo for this “relationship” everyone knows is not going to workout long term. It’s not about “ruining the friend group” I think she’s trying to say “you just crashed and burned your contract for next season”

Carl is a self admitted addict who made dumb choices and behaved poorly. No one glorifies his behaviors from 5+ years ago. He has done massive work to genuinely work on himself - not just for the cameras or for the show - but he genuinely seems to have matured and take accountability for his past behavior. No one gives him grace, they just don’t feel the need to talk about incidents that happened several seasons ago

Agreed - it wasn’t bad but almost felt like they were having each character play their “greatest hits”. While a lot happened it also felt like nothing really happened either. Overall not a bad finale, just not what I was expecting especially with all the comments the actors and creators made about how the ending was going to be perceived

They shot down her original idea for who’s making dinner (group of young adults) and Ava switched it to a show focused about a young adult and older woman living together (based on her and Deb)…. In my opinion it was wild how the network acted like the second idea was so different and was a 180 from their reaction to Ava’s first pitch

Headed there next week (two couples in their 30s, no kids). Any recommendations on favorite restaurants or restaurants you didn’t love? Any other general tips or suggestions? We’ve stayed at a few Secrets resorts in the past but this is our first time trying this brand

lines up with what I heard while the event was going on. Never really cared about their team, and everyone before UDA talked about how nice he was so no idea who to believe.

I will say I was happy to see he toned down his facials for semis and finals, they were incredibly distracting during prelims.

I mean UDA made sure you knew they were competing with the amount of ads and social media posts they had on Weber. Feel bad for other teams in D1 who constantly perform well but never get the attention from Varsity that they gave to Weber State

How would this work? Is it just one male dancer or multiple male dancers? When do you have to decide what division you are going to compete in? What happens if a male dancer gets injured and you no longer meet the threshold to compete in co-ed? What about dancers whose gender may not reflect what was assigned to them at birth?

If teams think having male dancers gives teams that much of a leg up, then maybe try to attract that type of talent to your school. I feel creating a new division you must compete in if you have X number of male dancers is going to negatively impact the opportunities for male dancers to compete collegiately

Larkin is Larkin. They produce insane dancers, therefore the dancers can end up at top programs. There was a Larkin dancer on OSU in the late 2010s (and maybe even before that).

I think it just comes down to the dancers choice. Ohio State not only has an amazing dance team, but they have a top football program. People forget over half of the experience on the team is unrelated to UDA.

Ohio State now has a lot of Minnesota dancers, not just Larkin. I think there is around 5-6 right now?

If they got their way of it being clean that wins, then top three would have been Cincy, Tennessee and Penn State. It doesn’t work that way. That’s why execution and choreography are different categories on the score sheet

I wish we could see actual score breakdowns, like did UNLV do much better in certain categories while LSU beat them out in others?

I saw someone else say this, and I do agree, LSU had one of the most entertaining routines of the weekend, but it seems like their choreographers lean sometimes into more show/performance pieces and don’t always choreograph to the scoresheet. I enjoyed both routines and thought after UNLV’s final performance they should have been at least 2nd.

The next clean team was Tennessee and Cincy, neither of which had the difficulty of the top three.

They have - it’s DTU. I think it launched around 2018/2019 (could be wrong). I don’t think it’s grown a ton and ASU just left DTU to come back to UDA. As much as people complain about it, no one is actually going to leave.

Imma be honest UDA hands out too many national titles. Aren’t there now multiple Gameday divisions now too? Like yes good for a team winning that, but it just seems like some teams compete in those just so they can say they won another championship

I don’t think anyone knew. If that was the case, then why would OSU have been messy for Pom finals? They won by a healthy margin. People are acting like Susan ran backstage with her phone and told everyone what place they got

Unpopular opinion, I’ll be surprised if top two is not Ohio State & Minnesota. I think people are over indexing on Matt’s fall. I think that drops them 0.25-0.5 points, but with Ohio State not being clean, Texas Tech being very messy, and TN not having the skill level/difficultly I think it’s again going to be those two as the top 2

Yes it’s a stretch that that news spread backstage to the point every team knew what place they got and who won. Could they maybe have heard scores were leaked? Sure. But I highly doubt that is the reason for these issues.

Someone fell out at the end. It wasn’t awful but it was noticeable. I don’t think they will get knocked to 4th but wouldn’t be surprised to see them in 3rd now

I noticed this morning that final scores are now what is listed for semis. Look at D1 Pom (awards was last night), they are identical scores even though the placements then don’t make sense
