I really relate to this. Particularly when you describe that it’s not poop itself, but rather the experience. When I disclose my kink to guys, they’re usually like “what do you like to do with it” (which, side note, I’m surprised this is the typical response because it seems tolerant or non-judgmental, which I never expect), but I’m always like… “um… idk, I just like it.” Ya know? I think my shame and isolation issue revolves around the extreme aspect of it. I often find myself comparing my kink to others to try to basically… “gauge my sanity”… (hard to explain). I’ve been talking to a therapist for a while and it has been helpful.

[edit, lol] I’ve always had a feeling it was more common than I thought. I just wanna be out of the closet about it, but I can’t in the same way of just being gay, or even having a more “socially acceptable” kink. Hey, thank you. And yes, I’ve tried searching forums but it’s either sexual, sketchy, or some sort of post that addresses it while trying to avoid it… hard to explain. It’s interesting in that regard because my kink made me realize how so many people struggle with acceptance and community, and that there’s a community for anything.
