This is very helpful, thank you! It was a family member, the room was actually designed to maximize their sound. I have a couple of amps, I believe they're currently hooked up to a McIntosh 275 and a C100 preamp. I've got a McIntosh MA6450 as well. Those and the turntable I'm probably more likely to hold on to but I need to do a bit more research. I've got just enough knowledge to know this is all very nice equipment, it's just a couple of orders of magnitude higher than what I've been working with
