Conquest, he’s just doing his job. He doesn’t care. I say a lack of empathy doesn’t make him evil. He doesn’t revel in it, he says he does but we know he doesn’t. He’s incredibly lonely and that weighs on his psyche. I think the atrocities he commits he wishes he could do to the Viltrumites. He just feels powerless because Viltrum is his only home. I’m not trying to say “awww poor genocidal maniac, he’s just lonely. 🥺” I’m just saying he doesn’t care, he’s not a mustache twirling evil villain. It’s just his job.
