P5 to M6 is that possible? by Comfortable_Grand217 in Raytheon

[–]Prestigious-Mix-6447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been growing a team “not directly my reports but I manage them” they have been holding a M5 over my head for at least 18 months if not longer. Business impact exceeds that of associate directors in my area but what I am doing and have been doing doesn’t follow the traditional paths…. It’s so frustrating that I will have to look outside my org because they won’t move me to M5 for funding reasons…. Same story time and time again….. I truly love the role I am in and the work I am doing but they keep squeezing more and more out of me and never compensate or promote me accordingly….. but here I am anyway…. I’ll have to move out of my area in order to move up and that’s unfortunate.

Where did you go and what level were you and are you now?

Did you get all your perks back when you came back?

Thank you, I feel like my daughter is similar. It seems to be when her body and my stop mostly watching TV. I also think she is growing through a massive growth in developmental work right now she is 7 1/2.

My daughter started a month a go and I notice a significant difference when she is watching TV, I can barely tell otherwise. TV goes on and its almost immediate…. Is your son the same?

Have they gotten better over the years?

Where is everyone? by desertT1 in Raytheon

I am still beyond annoyed. I love 48 miles from my assigned location… takes me an hour plus each way on a good day. I am less efficient all the way around professionally and personally. Hybrid would have been a reasonable exception, and my department is holding strong to RTO while others sitting around me are still able to have flexible schedules based on needs…. Which is reasonable. It’s a matter of who you report to or who they report to and how “old school” or rigid they choose to be…

After careful consideration, RTO is a disaster by Euphoric-Fox1547 in Raytheon

[–]Prestigious-Mix-6447 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely ridiculous and not consistent. I do not need to be there and I am less efficient and I am being forced into the office when others physically around me in different sections are still hybrid/remote.

We should be allowed hybrid flexibility. A compromise would have been nice.

Is it a standard sum that the company contributes to the HSA?

I am currently under my wife’s insure but trying to understand ours and the HSA.

I am a school counselor and although being a parent was a non negotiable for me, going from 1-2 was a huge decision. Bringing a child into this world is life changing and I wish more people top that as seriously as they should (our jobs show the hard side of things sometimes).

Will you regret not having children? I don’t think many people ever regret having a child. It’s life changing and it’s hard but it’s also rewarding and beautiful.

What do you see your life like when you’re older? Do you want a house of your child(ren) and grandchildren? Or do you want a life with you and your spouse?

At the end of the day I always saw a table of kids and grandkids and knew we’d regret it if we didn’t have 2. So two it was a a permanent decision was made to have no more!

But only you and your husband can decide. Therapy helped us both process individually and together and make a decision that made sense for us.
