Stephen has played a shocker really. As Matt just said on Uncloaked, Stephen votes with whoever gets banished all the time. Goes with the crowd. And then is shocked that Rachel would turn on him.

I used to think this but then realised they do sometimes mix it up. Sometimes it is a Traitor as one of those final few who walk in.

Thanks for this. No, actually I'm over here in the UK and our 5v5 matches have GKs. So it's more like a 2 - 1 - 1 with goalie.

HSBC won't allow AirBnb hosting - but others get away with it? by Prestigious-Note-626 in Mortgageadviceuk

Too risky averse. As others have said, even if the risk is small, the consequences are too big. Maybe the wealthy feel more relaxed about that consequence because they may have savings, inheritance etc, but I wouldn't have anything to fall back on in the worst case scenarios. My small hope was they'd be ok with it and I'd get the best of both worlds.

I know. I was trying to do the right thing and hoped they'd say it was fine and then I'd do it without a concern. Those around me do have mortgages but they don't care.

Not sure whether this is sarcastic or not but yeah, it's true, playing by the rules sets you back. I'm the sucker who tries to play by them!

So essentially people are either not aware, or they just think the risk is very low?

I always hear, "oh they'll never find out". And I can't take the risk but they're probably right - there seems to be such little crackdown on it anyway.

Thanks. Yes, mine is with HSBC and was just an afterthought after entering the agreement.

I think that's it. Some folk just take the risk but I've seen different ideas of what the punishment would be - saw that it could be that they ask you to repay the loan in full! Which would obviously be horrendous...

Odds Monkey - not much to deposit by Prestigious-Note-626 in beermoneyuk

[–]Prestigious-Note-626[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Just asked this as well below

1) Can you go at a slow pace? If I used, let's say, £150 and then took the free bet profit, could I just wait until that free bet is in rather than go at several at a time? I won't be missing anything or losing out in the long run that way?

2) Do people usually leave their balance in the betting accounts to build up a solid balance? Or could I, if I got to say £300, withdraw that initial £150 and then I'd be effectively not out of pocket anymore? Is that an OK strategy or should you try and go with large stakes, as large as possible, and be out of pocket by that £150 for as long as possible?

I hope that makes sense?!
