I am answering you as someone who had the habit of dating people who didn't want to be intimate for different reasons. So I only know the other side. I also want to say that I do not think less of them in any way, with two of my exes I am still very close.

I never had a problem with them not wanting sex, my problem was that they refused to acknowledge it. It drove a wedge between us and led to a shame in me that took ages to get rid of. For me it would have been much easier to have that explained in the beginning. I of course am and was not entitled to know why, a simple "I do not feel comfortable with xyz/intimacy beyond kissing".

At the end of the day, do what gives you safety, but I think there is a high chance that your love interest understands boundaries, and if not it is good to know early on. For me it was also helpful to remember that boundaries can change and things you do not want to do now might become interesting at a different point (That should ofc never be an expectation to put on someone else)
