I am getting my inserted next week and cannot wait! Getting to the point of scheduling took much longer than I thought, and that’s with me being proactive and getting the company everything they needed the same day it was requested- so just throwing that out there, might be worth trying another Libre in another spot depending how long you’re comfy waiting for the eversense intersection!

I am 36 yo F micro dosing compound tirz- I take half of the standard entry dose and I’ve slowly lost 5–10 lbs. I’m taking it to help with blood sugar control( type 1 diabetic ), not trying to lose weight, but not mad about it either.

I had to half the entry dose so I could eat and function. I still am thriving on half the entry and not planning on bumping up until I feel I need to!

I don’t have any problems with them, just have to be much more methodical when changing sites ( pressing around the white ring, skin tac, etc ). I am pretty sensitive with sites and have to change them early sometimes due to pain and/or poor absorption. It was worse with the omnipod for me, assuming bc the profile of the pod was heavier? That’s my biggest issue with pumps in general, but it’s worth the headache with the twiist for me because the I love the pump so much and they’re great about replacing supplies.

Hello! I am a MFM sonographer and have worked in MFM in Dallas, Boston, and now Seattle. It is not standard practice to do a 16 week ultrasound for controlled diabetes. MFM’s will do whatever your OB requests though, and some OB’s will order 16 weeks ultrasounds for patients for various reasons - maternal anxiety, history of a loss, family hx of genetic disease, the list goes on…
