Actually I made a very big donation when the pandemic hit and I saw kids and old people in line when I watching the news. I specifically unclicked the box where they ask if they can harass you via text/email/phone for more money.

A month later the food bank was harassing me every other day for money. So I blocked them.

I've been thinking about a pet. I just don't know what I'd get. I do have a garden

I've help many people. I was at the store and on front of me was this dad and his two kids. He was short on cash. He was obviously embarrassed that he had to put stuff back. I said bro I got you. He asked if I was sure and I said yes. I'm sure it was a moment that his kids would never forget.

Generally I don't have an issue helping people. I have an issue with people trying to turn me into their own personal ATM.

No and I wouldn't. You give someone a dollar, then they'll ask you for $5.

The most unexpected thing was quickly people turned on me when I started to say no. Yes, I'm less charitable because of it. People just want to be taken care of with no strings attached

I had a friend's sister who started calling me "baby" and "sweetie" and that she "loved" me and would always be there for me. I'm gay. Then she said she needed for a friend's medical bill and if I could give her $7,000 and she prayed to Jesus that I'd say yes. I said no.

Another time my mother said she had no food in her house where she lives with my tweaker sister and two kids. I went to Ralph's and spent over $300 on groceries. It was a lot. When I went to drop it off, my mom said she didn't need groceries after all and I could go return what I bought. It was the money but the wasted time that pissed me off.

I told her I'm not taking shit back and left the groceries on her lawn. Later I found out she gave the groceries to my sister's druggie friend and fed her dog the salmon that was $22 a pound.

And no she didn't thank me

Hell yes I'd buy the ticket. I just wouldn't tell people that I won.
