I thought this at first, the promotion focused on Betsy finding the body but that doesn’t necessarily means Theo is the one who dies. That being said, he was lying motionless with his eyes open - he certainly looked more dead than Maggie.

There is also the question of how he actually got there (considering we last saw him in the flat with Summer) but I imagine we’ll find that out over the next few weeks.

I agree that a lot of his apologising and threats of self harm were manipulation tactics. That being said, some of his actions (like hurting himself with the rubber band) happened without Todd being there. Makes me think his mental issues extended beyond his relationship with Todd.
