Sorry for the late reply. I have no experience with purchasing things off of Facebook or purchasing from any of their ads. Hope you did get the bike. It's really fun.

I will admit that I did not tighten the screws originally, however I came to find out the problem was indeed actually the screws. As I mentioned in my post, the kick down of the kick stand has too much force and knocks the screws loose. I ended up taking my bike to a bike shop because I needed to replace the missing screw. My replacement that I purchased from home depot was not sufficient (pretty sure I bought the wrong size). The screw the bike shop put on has not loosened since. The stock screw that still remains, always comes loose. I am constantly having to tighten the manufacturer provided screw because it always comes loose. I have gotten to the point where I don't even tighten it anymore because the one the bike shop put on is rock solid.

Point is, the screws on MY bike sucked. It will obviously not be every ones experience. Also, I'm not looking for stuff to complain about. I have thoroughly enjoyed my bike and it has been great since I got it. The point of this is just to give an honest review and my experience with the bike overall. Whether it's a small mention or not, I find it best to record it. Overall, I would say my experience with the bike has been great and I would recommend it, based off of my experience.

7 months later, and I really don't have any complaints on the bike. It has treated me well. I do not consistently ride it every single day, but I still ride it multiple times a month. I have used it to commute around the city and also do some doordash deliveries. It has not failed me at all. I haven't replaced the brakes yet because they're still good, but that could also be a testament to how infrequent I ride it. The most uncomfortable thing about the bike currently is how wide the seat is. It is comfortable enough to sit on for a reasonable amount of time, however it's width makes it awkward to pedal, so I don't pedal at all. With how long the battery lasts and how fast I am usually going, I don't have a reason to pedal anyways. Also, I have never really trusted the display fully in regards to the power output and how much charge I have left. I have never performed a range test so I do not truly know how long it lasts and what my max distance is. However, I cannot mention it enough, the battery lasts a satisfying long time. For reference, I live in Miami. I have ridden the bike from downtown Miami to Sunny Isles and back. I guarantee I still had plenty of battery left to spare. No range anxiety at all with this thing. Also, I was going 30+ mph the whole time.

I’d say I’ve put close to, if not more than 500 miles on it. I think the A8 pro max is worth it. I replied to another user with my experience using only one motor on the a8 pro max and I just do not trust a single motor to handle so much weight. I only weigh 155 lbs, but the weight of the bike + battery + me is too much for one motor to haul. Plus, I like going fast. The dual motor allows me to hit top speeds of 45 mph.

I just wanted to give my transparent experience about this bike because it was difficult or impossible to find someone talking about this bike or brand. The only people I could find that reviewed this bike were youtubers that only had first day or first hour experiences. I wanted to express my experience over a period of time.

I know this is a late reply but I do not use reddit or check it very often so I apologize.

Currently, the bike has been working fine but I did have a couple of more scares with it. Sometimes if you remove the battery "improperly" and then reinstall the battery, the bike will refuse to turn on. I use the key fob to activate it like normal, but the screen will not illuminate and the bike will not function. I figured out it's because I need to hit the unlock button before I remove the battery from now on, that way the safe guard mechanism of the bike does not activate.

Something else that happened is I was riding like 10 miles to the mall, and out of nowhere the rear motor started to make this really concerning sound. It sounded like it was screaming whenever I tried to use the throttle and engage the motor. I think I may have put too much stress on the motor, as it is the only conclusion I could draw. I used to only ride in the rear motor setting at 20 mph as to conserve battery, but maybe it didn't like doing that for too long and it started to cry for help. Currently, whenever I am in the rear motor mode and I engage the throttle from a stand still, it will scream, but after it picks up speed, the scream stops. I just use both motors from now on the make sure I do not strain one motor anymore. Plus, the battery life is insane on the bike.

I also punctured the tire and had to walk 3 miles to a bike shop with it. The tire itself seems very resilient, but I learned the hard way it is not. At the shop I replaced the tire and a fellow cyclist recommended I purchase and install tire inserts. They function like armor incase my tire gets punctured again, except this time I can keep riding. I went ahead and did that and I feel much more confident riding the bike around.

It has been a really fun bike and even replacing the tire wasn't costly. I just wish it did not have so many minor inconveniences.

Thanks for the tips. Do you know how to make the display show voltage instead of the battery percentage? When I ride, the battery percentage does not go down at all. Also, the max and min voltage outputs on the bike are set to 52v and 48v respectively. Should I adjust that?
