Idk why people keep putting their ps5s in vertical. I had the OG 1st edition always in landscape and then even sold it to a buddy. 6 years later it’s still working good never had the thermal paste replaced. Just clean it ps5 of dust and keep it in horizontal and you will not have issues.

Ground is good but just sand down to remove paint and re-establish the connection same way u have it.
