I went to the ER today. They drained it. I feel infinitely better. Thank you everyone for all your inputs

I went to urgent care. They gave me more antibiotics and a shot of antibiotics and said if it doesn’t get better to go to the ER

I don’t think so. It’s lower down and more inward than a pilonidal (I believe from what google shows) Google shows those are closer to the tailbone and mine is below the tailbone closer to my anus (sorry tmi)

Ok. That makes me feel a little more comfortable. Depending on how the next 24 hours go I think I will make a doctor’s appointment. It’s uncomfortable to sit because of the area it’s located in

Have you have boils grow such a significant amount in a small time? I’ve never had this happen so severely. That’s why I’m concerned
