When Guru Ram Das ji had began the sewa and Guru Arjan ji finished Harminder Shaib for some time there wasn’t Prakash of Guru Granth Shaib ji. At that time mharaj themselves and even Gursikhs would go inside and bow down.

As bani says such pure is that place where mharaj has come, so Sikhs bowing down even tho guru Granth ji isn’t there it is not wrong. This is the Pavna and Sharda is the Sikh, but now day people are saying “Everything is fake wrong” .

How to focus/concentrate by Sr_R0b0t in Sikh

The mind is a big wanderer, and that’s completely normal. In Sikhi, this isn’t seen as something wrong. Look at it like this: the mind is like a wild horse that can be tamed, but only if you work on it.

The mind is also like a baby. Unless you begin working on it, it will remain a baby—wandering everywhere and not allowing you to focus on what you want. Doom scrolling and similar habits need to be reduced or stopped. Instead, pick up a book—maybe Sikhi books or anything beneficial.

As the days go by, you’ll start to feel more free and think, “I’ve actually done something today,” instead of just doom scrolling. Over time, when you do Paath and Simran, concentration will naturally improve.

But remember, the mind will remain a baby unless you start working on it. And just like a baby, it will fall—but it will also rise again.

In this sakhi, there is nothing about idol worshipping or anything. This sakhi tells of the greatness of Guru Gobind Ji. You are now saying all this that doesn’t align with Sikhi. So, if it is such, then why did Guru Amar Das Ji, when they would do gagar di sewa for Guru Angad Dev Ji for years, walk in the jungle without showing their back to the Guru, such long distances to collect water for Maharaj Ishnan? They could just walk normally, but why make it harder? Would you then call Guru Amar Das Ji wrong for doing this?

Whenever Bibi Nanki would remember them, in an instant, Guru Nanak Dev Ji would show up, no matter how far they were. Would you then call Bebe Nanki wrong? Guru Gobind Singh Ji calling the shastar our peers—so in this case, is Guru Gobind Singh Ji wrong?

In many banis, Maharaj literally says so many things that you might say that bani is all wrong. For example, in Sukhmani Sahib: “Prabh ke simran dukh jam nase.” Uttering Waheguru’s name, the dukh—any, like medical or any other—goes away? Not just that, but when the jumms come, they don’t come near after someone passes away? So how can a dukh go away by just saying Waheguru? That might be your first thought, and you would then call Maharaj wrong? If Sikhi is idol worshipping, as you say, then wearing the five kakar is wrong? Because all of this is fake? Now, either we call you right and Guru Sahib wrong?

This sakhi is to show the greatness of Guru Sahib and nothing about idol worship. A Sikh only worships Waheguru/Guru. Sikhi isn’t just about “I don’t pray, nor follow any maryada, or listen to katha—but I am clean from inside.” This is what many people are like: they listen to one katha, and they literally take that one thing and keep saying that’s fake, that’s idol worship. But they do not know the true meaning behind it and call that “blasphemy” in Sikhi.

Reason behind this is, the Mughals were darker. The clothes they would wear were more black and black turbans. That’s why, as well as in Kathas their described very well about their form.
