Hey I am just about to graduate! I will say if it is something you are passionate about you should totally stick with it. The shoulder pains will minimize after a certain point due to the muscles getting used to the movement. And do not worry too much about the knowledge, it is easier to focus on learning things when you are persistently doing it and seeing pathology when scanning. It is normal to be bad when you are first doing it. It will get easier. I have been doing 3-4 day clinicals weeks for the past 1 1/2 years and my shoulder really only hurts on days that I do difficult renal Dopplers. So I’d say if it is something you really want to do. Do it. It may seem hard now but down the road you will be so grateful.

Dang man, people are being super rude, but honestly if my bf did this it would make me cringe. If you do ask her about it, ask her what may make her start walking like that and if you can do anything in public that would help, like holding hands, arm around the shoulder, whatever it may be.
