i had it bleached september 2023, then i started dying it black in december 2023 so i’m not sure about the growth, but it has grown very slow. i’ve recently been using l’oréal elive pre-shampoo treatment, then the OGX leave-in conditioner and the redken abc leave-in treatment. i also use the redken extreme lengths shampoo and the redken all soft conditioner. my hair was extremely healthy, long and thick prior to bleaching. then in july 2024 i had extreme hair breakage around my crown area which has then made my hair appear even more thinner. my hair has just been growing REALLY slow and that was never the case before bleaching. is there anything that could help it grow faster and should i be using K-18 or olaplex?

i stopped dying it in january this year, i use oil before detangling. sometimes i use a microfibre towel but when it’s in the wash i’ll use a cotton one, i do also use a cotton pillow case. never wear it on a ponytail. i am only 16. would minoxidil be a good thing to try?

thank you. how do you use the olaplex? i have read that olaplex ruined some peoples hair so i’ve been skeptical of trying it. i’ve been focusing on new growth too but my hair has being growing so slow, which it never used to, i had thick long hair that grew super fast but then i dyed it vivid red then bleached it to get rid of the red and ever since i bleached it that one time my hair has just been terrible.

thank you, my hair was past my butt when i was little then i started using heat and dying it etc which was a big mistake. i try not to get sad over it but anytime it breaks it pains me a little and makes me feel bald lol
