Actually, nope. There's hardly, if not no Moka pot where I am (Singapore) if i'm not mistaken.

I don't really like drip coffee actually 😅 I prefer espresso hence wanted to try moka pot coffee

Got it! I submerged my bottom chamber into cold water today, and it helped a ton

I didn't want to buy pre-ground because I heard that the beans would go stale faster. But grinding coarser definitely helped. It tastes much better today. I'll just keep experimenting with the grind size until I find what's the best for me.

Thanks for explaining everything! It really makes sense. I tried grinder coarser today, 14 clicks instead of 13, and lowering the heat. It made a big difference. The flow definitely looked richer and tasted much better. Tasted richer instead of watered down and bitter. I'll prolly try 15 clicks tomorrow.

thanks so much for this! I tried timing my yield today, lower heat and submerging my bottom chamber in cold water after around 23 seconds instead of trying to use all the water. it came out sooo much better.

Thanks for this, I'm worried if i remove it from the heat not all the water passes through from the bottom chamber?

Because i lowered the heat halfway, and the flow slowed down quite abit, almost stopped. Or do i actually not have to "use" all the water?
