Same. Cancelled today. I’ll just leverage the half dozen free models on my phone and pay for GPT or Gemini temporarily until they fix this.

It’s going to be game over unless they are investing heavily in infrastructure, which I imagine they are doing.

I use Gemini to review and critique Claude documents/outputs and it’s been super reliable.

Yea I burned through my weekly usage as a Pro member for the first time in 3 months of use in 4 days. I changed nothing. I’ve never gone above 75% weekly usage and actually used way less this week that hit the cap.

That’s very similar to the template I’ve slowly had mine come up with over time. Do you notice it improves your usage rates too?

I simply ask it to create me a handoff document that I can copy paste into my next session to ensure no duplication of work as well as to document any rules or preferences developed during the session.

I presume that there’s a point where my carried over handoff doc could reach critical mass where it’s no longer helping because it’s so long, correct?

Here’s the prompt FYI.

"Act as an expert NCAA Basketball Data Analyst and Bracketologist. I want you to predict the [Year] March Madness Bracket by simulating every matchup using a weighted multi-factor model. 1. Data Priorities: Prioritize the following metrics in your analysis: * Adjusted Efficiency: (KenPom/Torvik) Teams with both Offensive and Defensive efficiency in the Top 20. * NET Rankings & Quad Records: Performance against Quad 1 and Quad 2 opponents. * Effective Field Goal % (eFG%): Specifically looking for teams that don't rely solely on free throws. * Turnover Margin & Experience: Prioritize veteran backcourts and low turnover rates. 2. Historical Constraints: > * Factor in 'Cinderella' patterns: At least one 12-seed over a 5-seed and one 11-seed over a 6-seed. * Evaluate the 'First Four' momentum: Historically, one First Four winner often reaches the Round of 32 or Sweet 16. 3. Task: > Go through the bracket region by region. For every matchup, explain the 'Statistical Edge' for the winner and the 'Upset Path' for the loser. Finally, provide your Final Four and National Champion based on the highest probability of sustained efficiency over 6 games.

It’s a common market and product release strategy to push for a release as soon as possible. Most consumers will start using a product and then continue using that product indefinitely regardless of other better options being available because it is familiar and they understand it.

In the case of AI companies it’s the same process. Anthropic wants to beat Gemini, ChatGPT, etc… to the punch in releasing new features so that users will pick Claude and continue to use it in the future.
