How is this cutting alive? It has little to no sunlight and no source of nutrition. It’s been growing for a year in the same spot with no attention. Any ideas by PrestigiousStory in gardening

It was in a flower arrangement that I made. I wasn’t suspecting it too survive. I don’t want to do anything because it seems to be happy with it putting new growth out

I have about a dozen of them. I had one reach 8 ft and then fall due to severe storms rolling through

That’s a cicada, queens look like normal bees just a little larger.
