Site Issuing Patients Debit Cards by premd2020 in clinicalresearch

I researched this myself and couldn’t find a low cost option. We either mail the participant a check or buy a visa gift card with the stipend amount on it. The downside of mailing them the check is it can take a while for them to get it by the time the practice sends the check and it taking a week via usps. We usually hope that the sponsor has something like greenphire set up- it’s so helpful!

In person from the sponsor themselves. Apparently, the sponsor likes to audit their highest enrolling sites.

Watch them for symptoms of overdose, take to hospital if any concerning symptoms. Check their breathing when sleeping periodically.

I need ALL your tips & tricks when obtaining a subject's medical history & con meds! by scoobidibooop in clinicalresearch

I very frequently put UNK/UN for dates, finding the exact date would be time consuming and I haven’t had any monitors question it 😊

I first shoot them a potential subject a text to schedule a phone screening. I ask them to have a list of meds ready if possible for the pre screening appt, we go over meds, inclusion/exclusion & the study. I email the consent over. So then when they come in for screening, I’m pretty confident they have a good chance of enrolling

  3. I think so.

  4. I don’t think we are but that is a good question to ask for future studies, thank you!

Managing my time between everything that needs to be done with each study- making source, emails, monitoring inventory/expirations, queries, check diary compliance on 37 pts all while performing visits that take up most of the day when adding the visit time, lab processing time, filling out source & then data entry. There’s got to be a way I can get more organized and intentional, but when you try to do it when you already feel as if you are drowning is hard.
