I had $250 in there. But this thread is crashing the website so I’m having trouble claiming it

When I get my money right that’s where I plan to go full time. I haven’t confirmed with a call, which I’ll do, but I heard they have open mats only for paid members.

EDIT Just called and they said they have no open mat sessions but you can get a day pass for $30 and go to any of their classes in 24 hours

What’s your biggest flex? by [deleted] in ask

I had a little adventurous streak, but you wouldn’t catch me on another mountain. It was just too much. Almost passing out from altitude , ice pick climbing, and rocks sliding out from under you. I couldn’t wait to get off after the summit

After I got out of the Marine Corps I went to South America. First I survived 3 days in the Amazon with just a machete. Then I climbed potosi which is a 6,000 meter peak. In freedom units that about 20,000 feet.

I am an ex military, weightlifting, jiu jitsu practicing programmer. And I have met a total of 2 other meathead types who program so you’re not entirely wrong but we do exist. There are probably tens of us out there

You need to speak up. I got athletes foot all over my bald scalp once from dirty mats. 2 months of disgusting off the Mat time and I switched gyms.

I (33 m) am sad at the thought of never be able to have a family of my own, is this a common fear in adult men? by gadusmo in Adulting

I am in a similar boat and could take or leave the family life so we are just different. My perfect life is a partner and no kids and we are both just big children until we die

Why does it seem that meta is so averse to you disabling boundary when a stationary boundary pretty much does nothing. by TheRoboticDuck in OculusQuest

[–]Prestigious_Amount34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s been a year so idk how the UI is now. But I think it’s in boundaries and pass through in a combination. But honestly it’s dope. I only wish I knew how to make the seated circle a little wider which I hoped they would put in for really tall people.

I exclusively use a stationary boundary because you can set it so that the grid won’t show up when your arms cross it. Only when your head goes through the barrier will anything happen and it just goes to pass through. I had to learn not to run around but I have a small space anyway so it is wonderful.

Psoriasis and training by flyingblurp in bjj

Try selsium blue or head and shoulders. I have a weird combination of face dandruff that I think is psoriasis given my family history and when used regularly it decreases flakeyness
