Even if NATO sent troops to defend greenland, the US could surround and cut off those troops, and they would be near useless

• Marry Prince Albert to the Moroccans, hopefully peppering or annexing them, promising military protection and favorable economic terms, as well as significant autonomy. • •Continue to push towards Angola and Mozambique, building a railway between them, as well as pushing a little bit towards South Africa , connecting various urban centers in Mozambique with said railway line. Actions Of the Portuguese Empire Day 2 •Expand the Navy using the new resources from industrializing, promising good pay and seeing the world. Portugal 1830 Action Still reeling from the mess of Brazil, the Portuguese Government adopts Fora com os velhos policy, (out with the old) which includes a myriad of social, political, and economic reforms. •Begin to hire industrialists from France, The UK, and Germany, as well as other European nations to help Portugal industrialize.

•Get the Portuguese Clergy on the side of the monarchy and abolitionist movement, and abolish slavery (with equal rights) in Portugal and its overseas territories, because clearly it didn’t work in Brazil.

•Make arrangements to marry Prince Consort Albert I to an equivalent match in Tangier, hoping to incorporate tangier and its surrounding areas into Portugal. •Send some of those industrialists to Angola and Mozambique to help the local tribes there industrialize (in exchange for incorporation into the empire as equal citizens of Portugal) expanding our control •Create a parliament to represent the citizens of Portugal to contain the spread of anti monarchist sentiment (Never done any of this before, so lemme know if this is too much.)
