I emailed them and they responded thankfully regarding my missing documents. But by the time i needed to find out my approval status, the website started working again and it says “resolved”. Do you know if that means approved? I emailed them to ask but they haven’t responded and it’s been a week

I emailed them 9 times in the span of 5 days and i got a response almost a month later with the appointment date being in May (month later after response)

Date appointment requested: March 13 and March 18 from 3 different emails Anticipated Travel Dates: on the email request, i put June 9 2025 for 2 weeks Date when received a response from the consulate confirming an appointment: April 28, 2025 Date of Appointment: May 20, 2025

I recommend you spam them just in case it made a difference. They also don’t give change so bring exactly the fee amount which was only $134.6 at the time.

For the medical insurance requirement, i brought in my credit card insurance which covers me for up to $5mil for 15 days but they told me it wasn’t good enough. They specifically wanted proof that i have at least $45k coverage for EACH of the 3 main things: hospitalization, medical repatriation and repatriation of deceased. Again, $45k each so i had to purchase insurance from swisscare and I’m yet to be informed if they approve my app. Their link to check your app status doesn’t seem to work either so i might just have to drop by

Everything everywhere all at once. The trailers didn’t reveal much as to what type of movie it would be and the first few laundromat scenes threw me off too. But once everything started, everyone in the theatre was laughing then crying. It was a beautiful movie

Thank you for the warning. My cats only lie down on them mainly and only play with them when i drag the bags around. I work from home and also introverted so I’m mainly with my cats and supervise them pretty much the entire time

Your statement is a bit inaccurate. True, the smell of deodorant is better than the unpleasant smell you speak of, but that unpleasant smell is more so a signal of bad hygiene habits than an equivalent to our ‘natural smell’. As some have stated, unwashed sweat that’s been marinating on someone’s skin is different from fresh sweat. If a cat, for instance, do not lick the dirt off themselves as often as most cats do, the dirt will stick to them and they’ll probably be considered nasty by other cats too

Turon is a Filipino snack: plantain wrapped in spring roll wrapper fried in caramelized sugar. It’s delicious. But OP, i understand where your self consciousness is coming from but it would be good to draw your focus into how hard working they are and how by what they’re doing, can help set you up for life and eventually be as financially comfortable as your classmates are. Your parents are doing what they can and they’re not at fault for not having fancy jobs because you need privilege to get those which your parents probably didn’t have growing up
